I am looking for a good merchant account for my website? Which is the best one?

I hope I can help you here. I found this website that I am using for my credit card processing. So far, they are great. They offered me great service and a great rate. To tell you the truth, I searched all over the web to find a good processor and I decided to use these guys.

And they have an awesome guarantee. Basically, if they cannot get you a better rate, they will give you $500 just for trying them out. They gave me a better rate so I didn’t go somewhere else. Therefore, they didn’t have to give me $500.

Hmm Peter, I smell a processor in your answer. Only people who are in the industry list that many benefits.
TRUTH. If you are accepting cards through a website, you will never get a 1.39% rate. 1.39% is only for a swiped Check card. If the card is not swiped and you are on a program that offers 1.39%, you will be charged an additional 1.5-2% for those cards.
You need an internet/MOTO (Mail, Telephone, Internet) account. The above mentioned is meant ONLY for Retail (90% swiped cards) business. You also need a solution that can allow you to use your own shopping cart if you need to, or provide one for you.
