How do I file my taxes as a Merchant Mariner?

I work on a U.S. flagged cruise ship as a Merchant Mariner. I need to know how to get the most in my taxes this year. We get money back for every day we are on the ship, and I can’t seem to find the information anywhere.
The money on the ship is non taxed per diem. File off your W-2 like everybody else.
