That would fall into the realm of superstition and it has no place in the life of a born again Bible believing Christian. Taking the mark of the Antichrist will be something specific that one makes a conscious decision to take and it will be on the right hand or the forehead, not in the phone number of some merchant they want to do business with. Anyone who shies away from such a thing really needs to sit down and study the word of God more seriously.
References :
I don't worry about what numbers come up where, that's just silly.

However, I do make a concerted effort to NOT use the services of businesses who advertise themselves as "christian" or "christian-based" companies. Anyone who has to advertise their religion is not living it any way.
References :
No. As a Christian I am not into numerology or superstition, both of which are sins against faith and against the First Commandment.
References :
im not christian.

i have similar experience with this phenomenon.
i worked at this restaurant years ago. a certain combination of food would come out to $6.66 after tax.
9 out of 10 customers would buy something else to change the price.
i always found this to be hilarious.
References :
atheist

I would not use a company that had 666 in their phone number if it could possibly be avoided. I also would not live in a house with 666 in the address.

If this makes me seem superstitious, so be it. God has already said what he thinks of this number, and I do believe numbers have definitions. A company doesn't *have to* accept the telephone number the telephone company gives them.
