Posted on March 4th, 2010 by admin
I am planning on starting my own business and operating a kiosk at a mall setting. This is my first time starting a business and would like to know how to choose a merchant services provider so that i can accept credit/debit cards at my business. Any help is appreciated.
Normally your bank can with your corporate account. Bank of America charges a transaction fee of over 2.48 %+ on all transactions. Depending on what your business is, you may wish to visit http://ishopbuz.com, and click through Maverick Money Makers and LinkShare where you will have access to over 5000 fine merchants to sell products for: while earning commissions from sales generated from your business and/or Web site. You may also go to http://www.CCR.gov and register your company as a contractor (no charge) where government employees can make purchases from small businesses under $100,000., and, $5,000. (without having to have a requisition with their government credit cards online), which is accessed through your business phone/DSL line. FirstData.com may also assist you. I hope this helps you.
