		<description>If you used the account on a regular basis and paid it in full every month, I&#039;m not sure why they would close your account.  Amex did close a lot of accounts but most had some kind of red flag that indicated higher risk, like carrying balances for a long time and only making minimum payment.

Amex needed to get a lot of accounts off their books.  Maybe your account fell into a category that they were doing away with.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;BD</description>
