Adobe Dreamweaver CS3…?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

I currently have a Yahoo! Merchant Account. I want to know how hard it is to create a professional looking website using dreamweaver CS3. I’ve downloaded the trial, and so far I can make a cheap "mickey mouse" looking website. I am in the Ecommerce business and it is VERY important to have a professional looking website. I don’t have the money to pay a professional web designer, so I want to know if Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 would be a good investment. I have had some education in C++ and in HTML. Also I have heard that you need Adobe Flash CS3 or Adobe Photoshop to create professional looking web banners and interactive elements, is this true? Is there anything else that is cheaper? Please only honest answers. Thank you.

if u really want make professional looking website so must have knowledge of Photoshop, Flash & Dreamweaver and designing u dont have any knowledge of programming . for basic u know HTML, PHP, CSS, & flash actionscript for flash. here i suggest u a website free template & for tutorials that is www.templatesbox.com, www.tutorialized.com, www.flashkit.com/tutorials/, www.actionscript.org/resources/categories/Tutorials/

If you can’t afford a professional designer, you should look into learning to build sites yourself. If you’re already good with HTML, then learn a scripting language like PHP, followed with a database like MySQL. And all this can be done for free using a text editor like Notepad, though I recommend Notepad ++.

I use dreamweaver all the time…These are a couple of sites (listed below) I am doing right now, but I have done several over the years. I would recommend Fireworks if you are getting dreamweaver, they work together well, and it is a lot easier to make banners and such in fireworks. I don’t know what your site will contain, but most hosting companies will provide the shopping side of things in a pre-built format if you choose that hosting package. I would recommend dreamweaver and fireworks if you are serious about building your own. There is so much you can do with both programs, I would also recommend you spend the $30-40 and get the Dreamweaver Bible and the same for fireworks. They are lifesavers and time savers. Anyways…hope this helps.
