You can apply to your bank for your own merchant account. They will have software for your website.

Alternatively, you can join with a free third party merchant account service for such as paypal. There are lots of ways to set up payment options.

I called Paypal, securepay, and merchant warehouse and they all say one thing on the phone but say nothing when I ask them about the thousands of customers and sellers that’s been screwed by theses companies. For example I read about them from (ripoff report.com, paypal sucks, BBB). Is there a legit merchant transaction service out there?

Sage is good accounting software & user friendly

I think its a very good way to easily get a new business off the ground. Its very easy to use and easy to build your store. Comes with the shopping cart and excellent site stats so you know where your business is coming from etc.

Ebay in my opinion is getting over run with too much junk and is getting too complicated
