How exactly to make money on eBay with Dropshipping by selling Dropshippers’ products on eBay?

Posted on April 21st, 2010 by admin

Being aware of the benefits of selling the dropshiiping companies’ or dropshippers’ products on eBay, I as an absolute beginner to selling the dropshippers’ products on eBay would now like if you could explain to me what exactly is the step-by-step process for starting to sell the dropshipping products on eBay.

My main questions are as follows:

1) How and where to find legitimate dropshippers who would be willing to offer an enthusiastic eBay seller like myself the opportunity to sell their products on eBay?

2) What does the contract between the dropshipper and the eBay seller include?

3) What are the normal communication means between the eBay seller and the dropshipper once a prospective buyer wants to order and buy the dropshipper’s product from the eBay seller’s eBay auction page?

4) How much (in percentages) does the eBay seller normally earn in commission on every sale made on their eBay auction page?

5) How do the dropshipper and the eBay seller agree the technical issue of sharing the revenue on every sale made through the eBay seller’s eBay auction listing page? Does the percentage of the eBay seller’s well earned commission automatically go into the eBay seller’s PayPal account? What’s the best ecommerce set-up for both the merchant (dropshipper) and the eBay seller to fairly and correctly share the agreed revenue on every sale made on eBay?

6) Are there any other obligations (required activities) that the eBay seller has to fulfill apart from just listing the dropshipper’s products on their eBay auction listing page?

7) Does the dropshipper normally provide any help or assistance to the eBay seller in terms of providing the eBay seller with the desired description of the products, the photos of the products, templates of the dropshipping company’s logo, information on the shipping costs, etc.?

Whether you are an experienced dropshipper or an experienced eBay seller of dropshipping products, I would also like to invite you to contact me on my Skype: bruno.bb100

In advance many thanks for your kind help and guidance.

Best wishes for the New Year!

Tamayah
Dropshipping is where the products are say in Hong Kong and I am a seller on ebay with all the photos listed and once I get a Buyer, I pay the dropshipper to send if directly to the Buyer.

Bruno
The dissadvantages are that your ebay reputation (and future chance of selling) are totally in the hands of the dropshipper.h
How quick do they ship, how well is it packaged, any import duty and taxes that the Buyer needs to pay, you never get to see the goods and how good at they at supplies on time.
Trial and error to find a good one.
1) Don’t let them know you are so enthusiastic- they will gladly take your money
2) Between you and the DS
3) The buyer buys from your ebay, you pay DS, they send , you get the feedback (good or bad)
4) Ebay take 10% of the final price Paypal a % as well (minus around 13% in total for both)
5) You get all the money from the sale, the DS charges you a fixed price
6) You have to state where the items are being sent from (so buyer dosent get hit with hidden charges of Import duty and taxes) and be registered as a Business seller with a Merchant Paypal account, and within 3 months of trading the Tax man wants to know
7)Yes; usually stock photos

Good luck in finding a good reliable DS, will take a lot of research
Pick niche products that are not already swamping ebay

Need merchant account/service for a one time to bill client what are my options?

Posted on April 21st, 2010 by admin

I plan on charging the clients credit card $3400. What would be the best service to get this done?

I recommend being able to accept credit card payments yourself by opening your own merchant account, you can go to http://www.merchantisland.com it’s fast and easy to apply. I did it and got approved quickly and it was free! I was what they considered to be high risk because of my low credit score. I was amazed at how fast and easy I was able to get started. My business has taken off since I started accepting credit cards. Hope this helps. Good luck!

How can I speed up the card processing transactions in my merchant store?

Posted on April 17th, 2010 by admin

There are a number of things you can do. First, you should get your card processing service from a fast and stable processing company. Secondly, be sure you are on a broadband connection and not dial-up. Thirdly, get the latest card terminal and reader equipment. In addition, you can also choose an integrated POS system with integrated card processing capabilities.
You can read more about it by visiting the link provided below.

Credit card fraud how to catch the person?

Posted on April 7th, 2010 by admin

So I am totally unsure about this, my parents own a small restaurant and we had a credit card machine for around 1 year, my dad never opens the merchant service mails untill last week, the letter said that someone filed a credit card fraud and 2 times as we look at the date of the transaction we found the recipe of the payment and it was both same person signature paid with different cards, and they filed for a refund both time.

My question is if this person comes back, We know who it is and wanted to know what we can do to help stop the person.

Ask for the person to show a state ID, if the name on the credit card and ID don’t match then call the police.

How much do payment processing companies (for e-commerce) charge to the merchant?

Posted on April 5th, 2010 by admin

I want to start an e-commerce and need an idea what fees (approximately) payment processing companies (such as ogone) charge the merchant. If it is too expensive I would consider Paypal which does look less professional.

> Setup fee: A lot of payment companies charge you a setup fee when you register with them.
> Account maintenance fee: Some companies charge a monthly/annual maintenance fees.
> Processing fee: You also need to pay processing charge for every transactions.
> Security deposit: Some companies require you to pay security deposit.
> Withdraw charge: Some companies charge a fee when you withdraw money.

All above fees (whether applicable or not for your processing company) vary depending on company.

If you are a beginner, Paypal is best way to start as they are less expensive (no setup fee, no security deposit) to start considering other companies.
