How can we trust user advices on merchant sites and price comparison sites ?

Posted on November 30th, 2009 by admin

More and more people give their advices on products or merchant site regarding delivery or quality of the products. How can we trust these people ? Are they real or just people paid by brands or merchant sites to give us good feedback ?

thats a good ? u can only really trust them by meeting them in real life or if u cant because they live to far or in another state or something like that than either stop buying online and actually go to the store nd buy it but if u like buying online than i dont no what to tell you.

What are some affordable weapons systems that can sink small boats and be used by Merchant Marines?

Posted on November 21st, 2009 by admin

I’m curious what kinds of weapons would be well suited for sinking pirate vessels that attempt to board merchant vessels and that could be used by the crew members on the vessels.

What would they need, and about how much would it cost to protect the ship from all angles of attack?

Well, a crew armed with Automatic weapons is pretty scary, provided they have proper training.

Analog phone service for merchant service update?

Posted on November 21st, 2009 by admin

My merchant service is bank of america and My credit card machine is not working because they tell me they need to download a program but I have to have an analog phone service .In America nobody use analog phone service.Stupid merchant service doesnt help me.I asked them maybe that I can send the machine to them and they can fix but they dont do that too.I am going crazy .Please help me!What I can do or to where I can make a complain about them
I am not asking or analyzing analog phone service which I couldnt get anyway in NY.Joe r are you trying protect these companies or answering my question.I am trying to find a solution for my merchant machine.I dont need to explain all the trouble they gave me but I deal with them everyday so do not try make me look bad here ok.

what are you talking about in america nobody uses analog phone service??

sure VoIP is gaining popularity with consumers across the country, but there are still plenty of POTS (plain old telephone service) lines – which are just normal landlines, which are analog…

most businesses that have a credit card machine, fax, dial up modem, ATM machine, alarm system etc… should have at least one (analog) landline phone line for such uses….

what could you possibly complain about? that the telephone network has been around for over 100 years, and 100% of the population have access to reasonable priced service to this network, but because you moved your business over to some VoIP service, and did not leave any analog lines in your business for fax or credit card machines that it is somehow the responsibility, or problem of your merchant banker?

EDIT: you are saying that you can not get analog phone service in the US… or NY… analog phone service is regular landline telephone service… i still do 8-10 repairs on landline phone lines every day in NY… so I do not understand how you claim that analog phone service is not available in NY… all home/business phone service is analog except for VoIP…

I checked the source page and it’s XHTML, you can’t reuse or reprint the page without saving it first, and since it is a protected site (copyrighted) you may not be able to reuse it if the programmer has encrypted any of the data.

It does show a public page file, so it most likely is not encrypted. What exactly are you trying to do with the page?

What information can a merchant get off your credit card?

Posted on November 15th, 2009 by admin

I need a hotel for 2 nights for a three-day seminar that’s taking place.

I just went through the booking process on Expedia… and it said you need to be at least 18 years of age to check in.

That does not apply to me… my credit card is prepaid in case you’re wondering.

My question is, if I pay by credit card online, or even if I pay by credit card there, are they able to discover that I am not of age?

Alternatively, I was thinking of paying in cash, but would prefer to book online now to get the reduced rate, which would require the use of a credit card.

Please advise.

They will not know your age–in fact, they will probably assume you are over 18 because most credit cards require you to be at least 18. The only information that a credit card gives a merchant is 1) name 2) account number 3) expiration date of card 4) bank info and 5) Card Id Number (CID)–the three digit security number on the back of your card.

Feel free to book online with confidence!

What is required to begin a career as a Merchant marine? Is there anything special i must do.?

Posted on November 15th, 2009 by admin

I wish to change my career from electrician to merchant marine. What kind of requirments are there. How do I get enrolled in a school Espically inrested in info about Piney point maryland and the Paul Hall
school

With your training as an electrician, you can also start with the unions, since they can point you to the specific training that you could add to your experience (SIU is the unlicensed side, AMO and MEBA are two of the larger licensed unions). Electricians on the ships and even shoreside are worth their weight in gold – don’t start out at the bare bottom if you can help it.

Another good place to start is, ironically, the US Coast Guard, here is the link for merchant marines: http://www.uscg.mil/nmc/.

The Paul Hall center is located in Piney Point: http://www.seafarers.org/phc/; you can also check with your state’s university system as well since most have maritime colleges (like Maine, California, Mass, NY, etc) where you can also get really good training.

Good luck.

Has anyone heard of Summit Merchant Solutions?

Posted on November 12th, 2009 by admin

It’s this work-from-home business where they set up appointments for u, and you go to the small businesses around you and try to sign them up with a new credit card processing service from Summit, and you get paid by commission, Summit also claim to give a car/gas/cell phone allowance , how legit are they? has anyone ever work with them?

They sign up a million people on commission and whoever gets an order gets paid. Most make next to nothing because there are so many credit card processing companies out there.

Where should I look to find Ordinary Seamen positions available in the Merchant Marines?

Posted on November 12th, 2009 by admin

I’m trying to help my boyfriend find Ordinary Seaman positions, but I haven’t found much luck on finding Merchant Mariner Company’s to begin with. He already has his MMD and other documents needed. He’s looking for an Ordinary Seaman’s position. I’m very much unfamiliar with the Merchant Marines, so I don’t know if I’m even searching right. A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Semen are typically expunged through a canal of tiny orifice. This is typically located afront the tubulis shaft of tunnel digging. No document is needed to get into the semen position. Usually, throwing legs trunkwards will get semen pointed in the right direction.

:D
